MeoLamp is a floor lamp shared by humans and cats. By combining the image of “light bulb giving off heat” and “cat staying in a warm place,” I take the waste heat of the floor lamp as a heat source to provide warmth for cats, while the lamp could also be a regular light source used by humans. MeoLamp glows a warm, mild light, providing humans and cats with a cozy, relaxing space.

Features

Simple ShapeThe lamp was designed in a clean, simple form with materials that are easy to clean.

Steps-like light shades MeoLamp has two light-shades with different heights, so the cats can jump higher as they want.

Replaceable components
All scratchers could be replaced with new ones once it was damaged. Users could replace the bulbs as well.

Longer the lifespanThe stitches on the scratchers ensured the jute ropes could sticked harder to the light shades.

Structure

The interior of the MeoLamp contains various structures designed to support the weight of cats, ensuring stability as they jump on and off the MeoLamp.

M6 screws are inserted between the base and the U-shaped pipe to prevent rotation of the iron pipe.
A counterweight is placed at the bottom to ensure overall stability.

Inside the lampshade is a metal frame fixed onto a U-shaped iron pipe using male-female threads to support the cat's weight.
